Throughout the year, I like to prepare a fresh Pumpkin Facial Masque, by mixing the following together.
•1/8 cup cooked pumpkin pulp, cooled
•1 tbsp ground oats
•Pinch of nutmeg
Prepare oatmeal as mentioned above. Use plain or add other great skin care ingredients like almonds (which also mildly exfoliate), clay (kaolin is suitable for all skin types),
Coarsely grind a teaspoon or two of oatmeal. Moisten with a liquid such as honey, aloe, distilled water, spring water, or milk.
To use as a mild
Tropical Skin Blend
1 oz. kukui nut oil
2 oz. macadamia nut oil
1/2 oz. aloe vera oil
6 drops ylang ylang essential oil
4 drops jasmine essential oil
5 drops sandalwood essential oil
Combine all ingredients
This is a wonderful softening and firming treatment in one that is wonderful for any skin, especially dry or mature complexions.
1 ripe ripe Banana
•1 T Honey
•1/2 teaspoon Jojoba oil
Ginger invigorates, and oil soothes. Try this double dose for dry skin.
•2-inch piece of fresh ginger
•2 teaspoons light sesame oil
•2 teaspoons apricot kernel oil
•2 teaspoons vitamin E oil
