Rejuva Mineral Baked Mineral Blush is absolutely the Swiss Army Knife of mineral makeup. It’s a multi-purpose powder in a compact form that brings the concept of ‘a blush’ to whole new level. Today I’m reviewing this blush in Cranfusion, the warm pink option that offers gorgeous swirls of pinks, camel and whisps of medium browns.
I wanted to see if I could do an entire application with just this product as the color palette. I used a medium-width liner brush for applying the single shades to my eyes, and the Rejuva Mineral Petite Blush Brush to add the blush to my cheeks. I found that the Rejuva brush worked as an exceptionally awesome blending brush for the eyes (get two, seriously!). It also worked well for the cheek area and upper forehead area to add a sun-kissed look.
The colors are perfect for getting a very natural, flattering look. Best part is that it works for both day and night because of the matte finish. You can always add a dash of shimmer later if need be by using another product. But if any of the colors within this blush shimmered, the entire blush would shimmer when you mixed the shades together. So as a huge fan of matte shadows, these colors couldn’t be better. I also believe that the over-40 crowd will appreciate and embrace the matte quality.
Speaking of matte finishes, the matte black compact case is very modern and classy, quite beautiful actually. What’s equally as beautiful are the ingredients. I don’t remember ever seeing a blush, let alone a baked blush with Green Tea, Thyme, Lavender, Rosemary and Magnolia bark. Being infused with Jojoba seed oil and Safflower seed oil will also be apreciated by those with dry or mature skin.
We can talk about the beautiful colors, packaging and ingredients all day, but the end results are what count. I’m happy to say that Rejuva Mineral Baked Mineral Blush goes on beautifully, actually works with the skin to have staying power, and best of all… looks fabulous! This one is special in so many ways. If I could put it together, it’s a gorgeous, safe, versatile, sexy, natural blush that is going to make you feel and look sensational. Lovely, lovely blush.
